keys, furniture, cats, internet, cable, wifi, bacon, and downtempo on the cable radio station ... it's feeling pretty civilized around here. it is very, very quiet here.

Coast Gas is the tank at this property's provider, but they aren't able to come out 'til monday, so it's cold showers and space heaters until the landlords get the chimney sweep out here so we can use the fireplace. in any case, we've got a place to take hot showers: a neighbor is going out of town for the weekend. i got all the screen doors installed on the patio doors and 3 of 4 of the smoke alarms are up.

the cats were pretty upset by the ride home but things have calmed down dramatically since then. they're all sleeping on various furnitures.
